Group Activities

Access Recreation offers a wide range of skills based programs where you can explore a variety of activities within a small group setting. For all of our group programs we believe that having one support worker assisting three participants allows for support to focus on individual needs and goals in a personalised and supportive way.

About our group activities

The content and activities within each group program are developed by our Group Coordinator in consultation with participants.

  • Content is tailored to each group member taking into consideration the participant’s individual needs, goals and abilities
  • All groups attract an activity fee
  • Groups generally operate for 49 weeks per year
  • We currently charge under the Transitional Arrangements for Community and Centre Based Group Activities
